The Transfiguration Beam is a technique utilized by Majin Boo in multiple incarnations, and is used to transfigure the opponent from one form to another, typically food.
Usage[]
The Transfiguration Beam is a beam used by Majin Boo to transform people into whatever the creature imagines. As he transforms them based on his imagination, he typically transforms victims into some form of sweets, either cookies, chocolate, or some other form of sugary confectionery. Majin Boo is not limited to simply transforming one person, and can transform multiple people at once, and aside from candy, has been shown turning people into clay, and turning Chi-Chi into an egg.[1]
As seen with Vegetto, it is possible to fight while transformed into food, though the fused Saiyan is a unique case. It isn't known how Vegetto accomplished this, though he caused enough trouble for Boo that he forced the Majin to revert him to normal.
In Other Media[]
In Video Games[]
In Dragon Ball Online, the Majin race utiilise this skill as one of their unique abilities.
Trivia[]
- In the video game, Dragon Ball XenoVerse, the Demon God Demigra demonstrates a similar ability, turning Tokitoki into a sphere that he devours.
- Also in XenoVerse, a non-Majin Future Warrior can employ this skill through the Z-Soul "Okay! Turn into Candy!" which has a low chance of turning the opponent into candy when attacked, mimicking this otherwise Majin-excluse technique.
- In Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, as of update 1.12, the character can replicate Vegetto's ability to fight as a candy. If the user activates their Scouter before, or after, being hit by the Candy Beam, they can fight regardless of their transformed state.
