Conton City (コントン都, Konton-To), formerly known as Toki-Toki City (トキトキ都, Toki-Toki-To), is a large city, expanded to be seven times larger than its original incarnation.[1]

Overview[]

Originally known as Toki-Toki City, which was named after the bird deity, the city is the base of operations of the Time Patrol. It floats in the sky and has advanced technology at Age 850. It is somehow connected to the Time Nest, Kaiōshin of Time's residence.[2]

During the events of the first XenoVerse game, it's almost destroyed by Demigra, but was restored after the demon god's defeat. After that, the time rifts continued to multiply and eventually consumed the entire city. The Kaiōshin of Time decided to rename that city to the one which was now known as Conton City in Age 851.[3]

Reference[]

  • The name 'Conton City' could be a play on the Japanese word for "chaos" (混沌, konton), due to the fact that the city is a chaotic amalgamation of locations and time periods. Toki-Toki City was the Japanese word for time, simply repeated.
