Marcarita (マルカリータ, Marukarīta) is an Angel, who acts as both the attendant of the 11th Universe's Hakaishin Vermoud, and the advisor to the Kaiōshin, Kai.[1]
Appearance[]
Much like other angels, Marcarita bears their trademarks; teal skin, white hair, and a halo that floats around her neck. She also has blue eyes. Her hair is worn in twintails at her side. Her attire is in the same style as other angels, consisting of a dark blue robe, a black cuirass with the same white and orange symbols as her Hakaishin, tied with a red sash. Marcarita carries a scepter, like other angels, and it is coloured maroon and gold, with a black gem floating above.
Dragon Ball Super[]
Universe Survival Arc[]
Marcarita accompanied Vermoud, Kai and Toppo to the Zen Exhibition Match, where they watch the 7th and 9th Universe contestants fight each other alongside the other universe representatives.[3]
In Other Timelines[]
Trunks' Timeline[]
In Zamasu's quest for justice, he killed Kai to subsequently eliminate Vermoud, which lead to Marcarita ceasing to function until the next god appeared.
Creation and Conception[]
Toyotarō's initially depiction of Vermoud and Marcarita in his original storyboards resembled lovers. Toriyama, however, corrected his initial vision by informing him that Angels are dispatched personally by the Zen'ō, and thus would not be that fond of their Hakaishin.[4]
Trivia[]
- Her name is a pun on the spanish cocktail mixture Margarita (マルガリー, Marugarīta).
