The Kikōhō is a Ki Manipulation Technique, and the secret technique of the Crane School. It is also one of Tenshinhan's signature techniques.

Usage

The Kikōhō is one of the special techniques of the Crane School, alongside the Air Dance Technique and the Dodonpa. The Kikōhō concentrates ki at a singular point; between the diamond-shaped space that is formed when the thumbs, pinky, and index fingers of both hands overlap. The blast is then released in the form of a single blast, with enough power to entirely eradicate the Tenka-Ichi Budōkai, while at the same time leaving a deep crater in the ground. The Kikōhō was seen as a sure-fire-kill technique, embodying the principles of the Crane School; merciless death.

The technique does have one critical weakness, however. It drastically uses up the user's internal energy reserves; the technique uses up too much energy and it is typically meant to be used to decide a match in one single blow.[1][2][3]
