The Great Earth-Splitting Cutter is a powerful, whip-like Ki Manipulation Technique that slices into targets with ki.

Usage

The user builds up ki in the tips of their fingers, and then brings them down in a whip-like fashion. Expelled the ki from their fingertips in a thin blast of energy; the impact of this beam on the surface of the planet is tremendous, cutting as if crawling along the planet as it cleaves the ground in two. The end result is a gash along the planet, a deep fissure that extends far into the planet's horizon.[7] Despite this, the full potential of the Great Earth-Splitting Cutter is unknown, as, for all of its power, the force it displayed was only 50% of Freeza's own power.[1][2]

Trivia

  • Despite being an energy technique capable of causing a deep ravine well into the horizon of the planet, video games commonly depict the Great Earth-Splitting Cutter as a thin, crescent blast of energy.
