"Wait! Here's Son Gokū!!" (おまたせーっ！孫悟空参上！！, Omatase! Son Gokū Sanjō!!; FUNimation "Goku Enters the Ring") is the ninety-second episode of the Dragon Ball anime.
Summary[]
Gokū and Muten Rōshi have a sparring session before the fourth match. Panput's manager sees how strong Gokū is and realizes Panput can't beat him. Gokū goes for a quick run and Panput's manager follows in his car. He catches Gokū and tells him that the fight has been moved. He offers to take Gokū to the new arena. Lunch, who is getting some ice cream, witnesses Gokū getting in the car, so she chases after them. When she catches up to him, she easily defeats the manager's bodyguards. Gokū runs back to the arena just in time for his fight. Panput is a movie star and has never lost a fight, so he is very confident he can win. Once the fight starts, he tries to punch Gokū, but Gokū dodges it and gives Panput three quick elbows to the gut, knocking him out.
Trivia[]
- Panput was revealed to be a movie star in this episode, starring in a movie that vaguely resembles Star Wars. This was an anime-only addition, and may very well have been due to Toriyama's love of the Star Wars series.
