"An Unexpected Dodonpa" (なんとどどん波, Nanto Dodonpa; Viz "Look Out! The Dodon Blast!"; Literally meaning "An Unexpected Boom Wave") is the one hundred twentieth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga.
Summary[]
The match between Kulilin and Chaozu begins, with both opponents exchanging blows and surprising each other with their speeds. Eventually, Chaozu is forced to fly in the air to avoid Kulilin's eventual onslaught, with Jackie Chun noting that Chaozu's ability to utilize the unique technique of flying from the Crane School. While a spectating Tenshinhan is rudely impressed by Chun's knowledge of the technique, the announcer is notes his surprise at Chaoz's flight as well.
While in the air, Chaoz surprises once again by firing a series of Dodonpa at Kulilin, with Gokū recognizing the technique from his encounter with Taopaipai. Tenshinhan and Jackie Chun are both stunned when they realize that Gokū was responsible of the death of Taopaipai, and Chun informs Gokū that the deceased hitman was Tsuru Sennin's younger brother.
As Kulilin struggles against Chaoz's assault and is forced to plan a Kamehameha attack, Tenshinhan informs Tsuru Sennin of Gokū killing his younger brother Taopaipai, forcing the hermit to instruct his pupil Chaozu to kill Kulilin for revenge against the Turtle School. Chaozu then prepares a full force Dodonpa, however, Kulilin also readies a Kamehameha.
