"Yamcha Broken!!" (ヤムチャ破れる!!, Yamucha Yabureru!!; Viz "The Cruelty of Tenshinhan") is the one hundred eighteenth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga.
Summary[]
As Yamcha's Kamehameha mounts towards Tenshinhan, the latter proceeds to deflect the former's attack, forcing Yamcha to jump up in the air to dodge, with the attack devastating the audience. In the air, Yamcha cannot move freely, and Tenshinhan exploits this disadvantage for Yamcha by kicking him down, and then breaking his left leg while he's down. As this distresses the spectating audience, the announcer declares Yamcha unable to continue the match, leading a distraught Puar to shapeshift into a magic carpet in order to take Yamcha into the hospital.
Gokū criticizes Tenshinhan for his cruelty and vows to avenge Yamcha in the ring. While Tsuru Sennin chuckles over the cruelty of his Crane School, the next match is Jackie Chun versus Man Wolf. Before the match, as Tenshinhan informs Chaoz that the Turtle School is stronger than he anticipated but still expects victory, Chun praises Gokū for his maturity during the excruciating finish to the duel between Yamcha and Tenshinhan, all while Man Wolf is eager to face Chun.
