An elated Gokū flies back to Uranai Baba's palace and shows Upa and the rest of the Dragon Team his retrieval of the last Dragon Ball. After a brief conversation with the team, Gokū calls upon his Kintoun for one last trip, and takes Upa with him back to the Karin Holy Land. As the rest of the Dragon Team briefly comment after Gokū's departure, Uranai Baba prognosticates that Gokū, with his amazing prowess, will save the world one day, astonishing the team.
Once they land in the Karin Holy Land, Gokū calls upon Shenron, and the dragon god's appearance leaves both Gokū and Upa in awe. After Shenron requests the wish, Gokū gets Upa to ask the dragon for the revival of his deceased father, which Shenron easily grants, causing Upa's father to emerge out of his grave.
