Freeza Arc[]
During Freeza’s operations on Namek Appule appears alongside Zarbon, surveilling a defeated Vegeta in their medical room. The two exchange comments pertaining to the hidden Dragon Ball. Zarbon ask's Appule on the timeframe of his recovery. Appule briefs to Zarbon, that Vegeta has suffered a great deal of damage and notes that it should take a couple of hours to regain consciousness.[4]
Zarbon then departs telling Appule that he shall inform Freeza of the information. After Zarbon leaves the room, Appule decides to approach the unconscious Vegeta and denigrates Vegeta.
Appule is ensured that after being tortured by Freeza even the likes of Vegeta would confess the location of the hidden Dragon Ball, waking the unconscious Vegeta, to the surprise of Appule. Vegeta then removes his breathing mask and releases a Kikōha that breaks through the medical device and incinerates Appule on contact enough to break through the hull of Freeza's spacecraft.[3][5]
